Her multifaceted role encompasses the strategic management of business operations, including financial oversight, marketing, sales, and legal affairs.

Global Perspective: A seasoned traveler, Misty has lived in and visited a myriad of places, from Germany to Panama, enriching her global perspective and cultural understanding—assets she brings to her leadership style.

Educational Milestones: Misty’s academic achievements are as diverse as her professional experience. She earned her MBA from Liberty University after completing dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish at UNC Wilmington.

Professional Experience: Ronnie is a seasoned electrician with nearly four decades of experience. He began his journey in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he completed an electrician’s apprenticeship while working full-time and attending Central Virginia Community College. Ronnie earned his Journeyman Electrician License in 2008 and went on to receive his Master Electrician License in 2010. As a founding member of Wired Up Electrical, he has built a reputation for integrity and quality service, fostering professional relationships with a diverse clientele.

Favorite Aspect of My Job: I find joy and fulfillment in working with electricity, solving complex problems, and bringing light to our customers’ lives.

Role Model: My father, who instilled in me the values of hard work and dedication.

DALTON KING

Master Electrician, Crew Leader

Dalton King’s journey with Wired Up began in mid-2016, a path set in motion by a family connection and a shared vision for excellence. A native of Goode, VA, Dalton’s academic pursuits led him to earn his electrical certification from the Virginia Technical Institute in May of 2018.  He continued to develop his skills and went on to obtain a Journeymen Electrician’s License in 2019 followed by a Master Electrician’s License in 2021.

In his role at Wired Up, Dalton wears many hats, including Crew Manager, Estimator, Generac Installer and Service Technician. His Master Electrician License is a testament to his dedication and skill.

As a Master Electrician, Dalton brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project he tackles. His passion for travel and his exceptional critical thinking abilities allows him to excel in problem-solving scenarios, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success.

Dalton’s dedication to his craft is matched by his commitment to his team, having played a pivotal role in the company’s growth from a team of two to a robust team of twelve in nearly eight years. His leadership and vision have been instrumental in executing special projects, such as the installation of dual 600-amp services at the Thomas Road Outpost camp located at the Peaks of Otter and the meticulous rewiring of several historic buildings.

An interesting twist to Dalton’s professional journey is his culinary degree from CVCC, which reflects his love for creativity and excellence in all forms. When he’s not managing projects or overseeing installations, you can find him indulging in his hobby of smoking meat or enjoying quality time with his family.  He finds inspiration in his role model, his wife Zena, and takes pride in his ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.

Dalton’s best advice to customers is simple yet profound: “Don’t be afraid to ask for help or call a professional.” It’s this approachable demeanor and his extensive skill set in areas like historic rewires, kitchen remodels, and car charger installs that make him an invaluable asset to our team and to our clients.

Whether he’s lighting up the Craddock Terry conference center or stringing lights at The Loft restaurant, Dalton’s work shines brightly, illuminating the path for future innovations and continued company growth.

NEIL FRANKLIN

Master Electrician, Crew Leader

Neil Franklin is the embodiment of expertise and dedication in the field of electrical services. Joining Wired Up Electrical in the spring of 2018, Neil brought with him not just his impressive skills but a passion for the trade that is evident in every job he tackles. His favorite part of the work is the autonomy it offers and the diverse challenges each day brings. Upon completing the electrical program with the Virginia Technical institute, Neil earned his Journeyman Electrician’s License in 2021 followed by his Master Electrician’s License in 2023.

Before his journey into the electrical world, Neil honed his precision and creativity as a sous chef—a skill set that translates seamlessly into his meticulous electrical work. When he’s not ensuring your electrical systems are top-notch, Neil is an avid sports enthusiast, eagerly passing on his love for the game to his young son, Stone.

A family Man, Neil’s heart is wired to his beautiful family, including his wife Lacie, their energetic son, and Milo, their intelligent border collie/Aussie mix.

Meet our future star, Trey Erb who joined our team in February 2023, bringing fresh enthusiasm and a keen eagerness to learn. As an apprentice, he’s quickly making a name for himself through his dedication and the genuine joy he finds in meeting new customers on service calls.

Guided by Experience: Inspired by his uncle, a role model who embodies the virtues of hard work and expertise, Trey is on a steadfast path to becoming a master electrician.

At the Heart of Service: Miles Woody has been with Wired Up since October 2023.  He is a budding Electrical Apprentice whose genuine pleasure comes from meeting and assisting our clients. His approachable demeanor and excellent communication skills make him a favorite among customers who appreciate his willingness to answer any questions and ensure their electrical needs are met with the highest standards.
